The superficiality of the masses starts right where they become proud of what they
naturally possess, or in other words what they did not have any choice in and never
put any contribution towards, rather than what they have accomplished in life.
People are proud of their appearance, nationality or history background, which by
chance could be anything else. They feel superior over other group of peopole due to
elements that are not "Real" assessments of worth. Nevertheless the real scope of self-knowledge is not about the or predestined, but it`s about the way that humans analyze those situations and acquire something meaningful out of it.
